NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Proposed Ordinance 2023-04

Notice is hereby given that the Village Council of the Village of Lake Isabella will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, as part of a Regular Meeting beginning at 7 PM local time.  The purpose of the public hearings is to receive comments and questions on proposed Ordinance 2023-04.  The location of the public hearing will be the Lake Isabella Village Hall, 1010 Clubhouse Drive, Lake Isabella, MI 48893.

The purpose of this Ordinance is to update the Codification of Article VIII and Article X of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Lake Isabella. The amendments in this Ordinance are intended to address various grammar issues, update regulations, and ensure consistent formatting with the other Codified Ordinances. This ordinance is final ordinance planned for the re-codification of the Village's ordinances. Article II of the Village's ordinances was re-codified in May of 2022. Article IV was re-codified in September of 2022. Article VI was re-codified in July of 2023. Article XII (zoning code) was re-codified as part of a complete update of the zoning code in November of 2022. Articles VIII and X are the final portions of the ordinances needing re-codification.

Information may be obtained, including a copy of the proposed Ordinance at the Village Hall at the above address between the hours of 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. A copy can also be viewed on the ordinance page of our website.  Written comments may be submitted in advance of the public hearing to the Village Clerk at the address below or via email at office@lakeisabellami.org.
