Tim's other duties include; Deputy Clerk, Chief Code Enforcement Officer, Street Administrator, Zoning Administrator, Federal Surplus Coordinator, and Webmaster.
Tim Wolff was hired as the Village's third Village Manager in January of 2004. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Alma College and a Master Citizen Planner certification from Michigan State University Extension. Prior to coming to Lake Isabella he served in the Village of Breckenridge as an elected Councilman for four years. During his time in Breckenridge, he served as Chairman of the following committees of the Village; Department of Public Works & Water, Finance, Cemetery and Parliamentary Procedure. His private sector background includes managing The Ridge Golf Course, and also substitute teaching. Tim is also active locally as
a member of the Mount Pleasant City Planning Commission, and the County Ag-Land Preservation Board. Professionally he is a member of the
Michigan
Association of Planning,
International City/County
Management Association, and the
Michigan Municipal League
where he serves on the Land Use Advisory Committee and is a past Regional
Chairman of the League. In 2007 he was a recipient of Special Award
of Merit from the Municipal League for his work on behalf of local
government. He is also an active member and past Deacon of Trinity
Baptist Church in Alma. Jessica Manley - Deputy Village Manager Jessica's other duties include; Deputy Administrative Clerk/Treasurer, Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) Coordinator, and has recently been appointed as a zoning officer for the Village.
Jessica has served with the Village for over four years, and has worked
with all three Village Managers. She originally began her employment as an
administrative assistant for the Village's first manager, Ed Spayd.
Her knowledge of not only the Village, but municipal office operations has
been a major asset to the Village as grows in terms of municipal structure
and services. Jessica, as is Tim, is also a Notary Public,
authorized by Isabella County and the State of
Michigan. John Terry - Code Enforcement Officer
John is the most recent addition to the Lake Isabella staff. John
spent over 25 working for the Michigan State Police, retiring in 2003.
John enjoys flying and serves on the Village's Airport Advisory Committee,
he also has a home on Beaver Island. John is also employed part-time
by the Village of Chesaning as a police officer. Tom Courser - Airport Manager Tom became the manager of the Lake Isabella Municipal Airport in the spring of 2005, replacing long time manager Elmer Ledbetter. Tom also serves on the Isabella County Zoning Board of Appeals and ran for County Road Commission in 2006.
