The Village Council, via Resolution 2006-09, has approved the first round of sale of Village owned lots. The Council's action came after both the Manager and Planning Commission recommended that these initial lots be sold. The Village first acquired the lots in 1999-2000 from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources for future "public use." These lots have been identified as having future public need, as such, per the deeds issued by the DNR, they are now being sold at fair market value. The Village in no manner guarantees the ability to obtain a septic or well permit on any lot that is sold. This initial sale involves certain lots in the following plats: Isabella South, Isabella North, Airpark, and Golf Estates II. Lots will first be offered to adjoining property owners who agree to permanently combine the Village lot to their existing property on a first come - first serve basis on Monday May 22, 2006. The remaining lots will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday May 30, 2006.
